National Property Administration co-operates with Puli Township Office in Nantou County for the first time to carry out a development project of national land at Nan-kuan section in Puli Township. The investment on the project was successfully completed on March 25th, 2014, and an announcement campaign of the investment result was held at 10 a.m. this morning (28th). Almost one hundred people attended the campaign, including the Division Director WU, WEN-KUEI of the Central Region Branch of National Property Administration, MOF, the Mayor of Puli Township – CHOU, YI-HSIUNG, the Chairman of Leemin Development Company Limited of Yooushan Group – WU, CHIU-MING, the atmosphere was lively and full of joy while everyone witnessed the important moment where the central and local governments and private section open a new page through working together to activate the national land. According to National Property Administration, the whole area of this development project is about 1,223 pings situated in a residential area and near the main traffic artery such as the Puli interchange and provincial highway. It is a channel leading to major tourism attractions and is located at a perfect spot to develop economic activities with local characteristics. Puli Township announced the superficies tender for this project to the public, and Leemin Development Company Limited won the bid. Puli Township and the Central Region Branch of National Property Administration, MOF, had respectively executed investment and development contract, and the agreement to create superficies. Hotels, recreation facilities, sports facilities and exhibition space for sale of local products will be built on the national land. The investment is expectedly up to 150 millions, and 100 employment opportunities will be available. Tourism and local living functions shall be enhanced, and the development of local industry will be promoted with significant benefits for economic prosperity. The National Property Administration further stated that on the 24th of this month (April), the National Property Administration also completed the investment on the “BOT Project of Hu-Wei Art and Leisure Park of New Taipei City” together with the Government of New Taipei City, which was another successful case recently.
